Julia M. Brown serves as CEO for JMB Legacy Consulting, LLC. She and her associates provide strategic consulting and advising to companies, private equity firms and management consulting organizations.

Julia M. Brown serves as CEO for JMB Legacy Consulting, LLC.  She and her associates provide strategic consulting and advising to companies, private equity firms and management consulting organizatoins.  In addition, Julia serves on the boards of Molson Coors Beverage Company, Solo Brands, Shutterfly, The Honest Company and The Venetian Resort as well as serves as a strategic advisor to Kearney in their consumer and retail practice. 
During her 30-year career in consumer products and hospitality, Julia has distinguished herself as an inspirational and transformational leader.  She has led significant cultural, operational, and organization and organizational change initiatives as well as business turnarounds, delivering billions in value.  Celebrated and recognized among her peers, Julia is a sought-after thought leader known for her expertise in global supply chain management, enterprise-wide procurement, strategy and operations, mergers and acquisitions, driving growth and achieving scale.
In her most recent executive role at Mars Wrigley, Julia oversaw sourcing and sustainability for well-known brands like M&Ms, Snickers and Double-Mint.  As the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) of Carnival Corporation & Plc, she led global strategic sourcing and supply chain across 9 cruise lines with over $10 billion in operating expenses and capital expenditures.  In this capacity, she also served on the corporate customer advisory board for American Airlines.  Julia is the former CPO at Kraft Foods, responsible for the company’s $33 billion strategic sourcing function.  In 2012, she was a key member of the global management team leading teh split of the company into two companies, thereafter, becoming the CPO at the newly created Mondelez International.  As CPO and VP of Contract Manufacturing at Clorox, she led a 3-year transformation that resulted in a dramatic improvement in productivity and earnings per share.
Julia began her career at Proctor & Gamble in Toronto where she played a key role in the consolidation and creation of a North American business after the close of the Canadian organization.  She has also served in global leadership and strategic roles at Diageo and Gillette.  
Julia’s board service includes non-profit organizations, currently serving as a trustee for the Chartered Institute for Purchasing and Supply (UK) and the Perez Art Museum (Miami.)
Previous non-profit board roles include the Executive Leadership Council (Washington, D.C.), the Arsht Center for the Performing Arts (Miami), Camillus House (Miami), the National Minority Supplier Development Council (New York City), the Ann & Robert Lurie Children’s Hospital (Chicago), and the African American Experience Fund (Washington, D.C.)
Julia is the recipient of numerous awards, including being named as one of the Top Black Corporate Directors and Top 100 Influential Blacks in Corporate America by Savoy Magazine; Top 40 CPOs in the world by Supply Management magazing; Top 50 Women to Watch by the Financial Times Stock Exchange (FTSE) 100; and the Top 75 Most Powerful Women in Business by Black Enterprise.
Julia received an Honors Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada and has continued executive and board education throughout her career.
